Greek Words in the English Language

Tom (Athanase) Tzouchas was born in the village of Kouvouklion, Macedonia, Greece. After serving in the Greek navy and merchant marine, Tom immigrated to Canada in 1967, where he married Sandra. Now retired from a career with the federal government, Tom feels he is living his American dream.

Having studied ancient Greek and Latin as a young man, the author learned to analyze the Greek language, which eventually led him to creating the present volume.

With over 4,000 Greek words to be found in the English language, the English-speaking reader is encouraged to take advantage of those similarities in order to easily learn to form phrases and to speak the language. And for Greek speakers, it will help to increase their English vocabulary...
